Card with a closure!

How are you enjoying the summer? It has been a tad warm hasn’t it phew!! 

This weeks project is a card with a closure and I’ve made this card for a friend who was the big 60 recently. Using Belle Papillon from Polkadoodles for a shabby chic feeling soft pink tones. I created the closure using a tag punch and layering papers over the top, I really went back into craft history and decoupaged the flowers and  made a wax seal! I do hope you like it.

Back to school notebook

I wish it was time for the children to go back to school but alas there’s still 3 weeks left ha ha ! For this project I created a notebook/journal it’s an essential item to have for the beginning of the new term isn’t it?  I used Polkadoodles Rebel flower digi stamp and coloured her with markers, the design paper is Polkadoodles scrumptious sugar paper pack. I see an old Polkadoodles stamp which is always my go to when I want to create a mixed media effect! I think this is rather cute, hope you like it!

Get organised for Christmas- quick 5 minute cards

For this weeks  project I needed to get organised for Christmas!  My granddaughter who is only 4 wants a batch of small cards to send to her friends at school? “ I only need 30 Nana” lol! Hmmm so i decided to make quick 5 minute cards using 4 x 4 pre scored cards, printing pre coloured images I set to work, i also used  stencils to create a quick background and the sentiments were from a stamps set…. I think I can make 30 of these and be well prepared.

Back to school pencil case wallet

It’s a new month! …where does the time go! The team was tasked to create a wallet with a back to school theme, this inspired me to make my granddaughter a stationary wallet for when she starts school In September, it’s not hard as it looks to create, it’s justA4 card scored into a trifold and I die cut one edge.

Jasper cat with balloon! Theme use animal no rabbits

Are you a cat person? ….me personally is allergic to cats but I absolutely adore them, so making a lovely cat card is somewhat comforting! 

This weeks team challenge was to create a shape down one edge, this card is a tri fold with a teardrop front panel, this was perfect to hold the fuzzy puff cat birthday image! He’s so adorable right?

I kept the colours a soft brown pallette and i think it suits this card perfectly?

Toadally in love - Interactive notelet cards with matching envelopes

Happy Saturday everyone! …. This weeks task was to creat an interactive project using a colour palette, this inspired me to create the envelopes with the said palette, to compliment this I created 4 interactive notelet cards, I have placed a spring, wobble behind the images so the toads wobble when you flick it with your  finger! I do hope you like these and inspire you to create them they really are so simple to make.

Ocean Card - polkadoodles challenge

NELLY I simply  love colouring up little fishes, it’s something about how their personality bursts into life! So for this weeks project I have taken the fish digital stamp from Winnie starfish and. Coloured with zig watercolours.

a little stencilling in the background and textures using texture paste created the ocean feel.

I thought this card would work perfect for an anniversary card? What do you think?
