Boo! Halloween card.

Happy Saturday everyone! What are you up to today? 

This weeks card is one of many Halloween cards I have made, blended background using distressed inks, picked raspberry, fosilled amber, wilted violet and mariner blue. The images were coloured with alcohol markers. The Halloween images were taken from the “Hey pumpkin stamp set” and you can find them on the Polkadoodles website by clicking HERE they are reduced in price so go and grab a bargain! 

Use an object- mdf plaque - hydrangea flowers

For my project this week I was inspired by a plant in my garden, hydrangeas!  The purple and blue hues are captured in the flower image on the plaque which has been stencilled from layers in the matchable stamp, die and stencil set, aren’t they just gorgeous?  I used acrylic paints to cover the mdf plaque, the jug and honeycomb are also from the mdf set. I wrapped garden twine around the handle. The home sweet home is a rub on I had in my stash.

Saturday means a new project to share with you all! I’ve used Polkadoodles Daisy wing stamp matchable stamps, die and stencil  for the main feature on this card, distress inks  in yellow and orange tones for colour. Perfect Autumnal card  and it’s only a few weeks away!

Unusual shaped card- pop up springy card

Saturday comes around so quick! What are you all up to today? 

For this weeks project I have made an unusual shaped card called a hexagon pop up card! You can find the details with how to make it  HERE.

I used Polkadoodles pretty scallop dies, Christmas everyday sentiments  and abundant holly die cuts to create the images.  Around the hexagon shape at the bottom I cut images from the sparkling Christmas paper and topper set. You can find all the links to the products below.

Card with a closure!

How are you enjoying the summer? It has been a tad warm hasn’t it phew!! 

This weeks project is a card with a closure and I’ve made this card for a friend who was the big 60 recently. Using Belle Papillon from Polkadoodles for a shabby chic feeling soft pink tones. I created the closure using a tag punch and layering papers over the top, I really went back into craft history and decoupaged the flowers and  made a wax seal! I do hope you like it.

Back to school notebook

I wish it was time for the children to go back to school but alas there’s still 3 weeks left ha ha ! For this project I created a notebook/journal it’s an essential item to have for the beginning of the new term isn’t it?  I used Polkadoodles Rebel flower digi stamp and coloured her with markers, the design paper is Polkadoodles scrumptious sugar paper pack. I see an old Polkadoodles stamp which is always my go to when I want to create a mixed media effect! I think this is rather cute, hope you like it!
