Fast, simple Valentines card! Love and Cherish!

 For my Quick and Simple Valentines card I've used an image from the Love and Cherish cd, printed a few straight onto Linen A4 card stock and scored in half, added a little sparkle using Wink Of Stella Glitter pens, I added satin ribbon from my stash and Doodle Dew Drops in Pink, Cute Valentines cards in minutes!...Have Fun Crafting Folks!

Happy Sunday to you all!  it has been a very long time since a made a card just to pass few hours but this week i did just that, with valentines not very far away and also being a leap year i have been feeling the love and made this cute card he he! created using Marianne heart dies, magnolia images coloured with pro markers! ...its quite cute eh! ...have fun crafting folks!

Its Sunday and my crafty day, I have been reflecting a lot this month, and a little gentle reminder from a friend last night that id forgotten to reply to another friend we recently met made me reflect even more that as Life gets busier it can be simply too easy to forget the people that touch our hearts in so many ways!
for me personally i was looking forward to putting closure to disappointment that i had in 2011 which i have been successful in achieving, when i woke this morning (rather late i might add) I decided  to make an effort to remember to say thank  you to the people that are important to me! so i made this card using an image i had coloured and  stamped at the beginning of January, not only to post off to the person i recently met, but in reflection of  friends that have been there for me, supported me, and cared about me , also to each of you reading this post, to you all, from me  a truly heartfelt THANKS!

Exciting Times for the Kids!

Polka Doodles, Sugary Cake

Here is my design card for this weeks challenge over at Polka Doodles, the theme is use a Polka doodles template ( plastic or from a CD)  so i have used the Paper Boutiques vol 1 cd and used the Sugary Cake template, the design papers are also from the cd except the dots the text swirls paper which is from the  Sugar Birdies CD,the images are taken from Pretty Sweet CD , i have used a Martha Stewart  punch to create the border and ribbon and raffia from my stash, the sentiment is from polka doodles CD. Glitter Geeks Challenge; Myths and Legends

This weeks theme over at the Glitter Geeks is Myth's and Legends, for my card i downloaded a Unicorn image colouring page from the web and resized it, I decided to colour the image in with Prisma Pencils, if you haven't tried these pencils then you simply must! the colour is very rich and they blend beautifully, i think i will be using these a lot more through 2012 :) pop over to the challenge and join in...Have Fun Crafting Folks!

Brand Spanking New!

Here is my design card for this week Glitter Geeks Challenge, the theme is "Brand Spanking New" i have used my first ever acquired Belles n Whistles Stamp called "Happy Mail" isnt she just adorable!  coloured using flex markers, design papers are from polka doodle pretty sweet cd. the design is a tent card and with this weeks theme in mind i decided to turn it into a 2012 desk calender and this is for a special lady that i met this year, long may our friendship last, so inspirational , just hope she doesn't see it lol , Happy Brand New Spanking year everyone and ...have fun crafting folks!

Proud to become a permanent member of Team Doodle over at Polka Doodles...

Im very happy and proud to announce that i have now permanently joined the design team over at Polka Doodle, Nikky and Tracey have been very supportive and i have had the loveliest welcome from the rest of the team, 2012 is going to be a very busy and exciting time and i'm soooo excited for  the new year and hope you all enjoy the designs i bring to you :)))...For my first design card with the team i have used polka doodles Windy Tree Stamp and free polka doodle stamps from a magazine for the image and sentiment,  coloured using a combination of Flex and Pro markers, design papers are from magical winter cd the window/aperture was created using layers from Nestabilities shaped dies. i used an embossing folder to create the snowflakes on the card stock, pop over to POLKA DOODLES CHALLENGE and join in the fun!.. Love to you all for continuing to read my Blog and leaving such lovely comments, i really do appreciate them all, hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and Best Wishes to you all for the New Year!... most of all Have Fun Crafting folks!

Quick Christmas card!

Well another Friday soon comes round! and what better than to inspire you all with a quick Christmas card idea, this is my design card over at POLKA DOODLES this week, pop over there you will find even more inspiration from the rest of the TEAM DOODLE gang!  here i used scraps of paper from design papers, Holly embellishment i had left over from the  WINTER WONDERLAND and A DOUBLE SPRINKLE OF CRAFT cd's , sentiment was free stamp from a magazine, piece of ribbon from stash box and in approx 10 - 15 mins you have a quick super card to put in the post!

Let it Snow

Hi Everyone , for this weeks Glitter Geek's design card "let it snow"  i have used polka doodles winter stamp Doodle set, i have stamped the snowman then masked the snowman and stamped the winter tree. images coloured with pro markers, the card shape was created using nestabilities scallop circle dies, snowflakes were punched from a Martha Stewart snowflake punch, the holly was punched from a Woodware punch and the berries are candy dots, design papers are from echo park, accented using glamour dust, pop over to Glitter Geek's challenge look at the design teams creations for some inspiration and have a go!... Have Fun Crafting Folks!

Another Friday comes around so quickly, not enough hours in the day at the moment! its that time of the year for us crafter's eh!
