Ice cream for the sweetest of Birthdays!

For my project I decided to go CAS and create this " Sweet  Birthday  DL card" using an  Ice Cream image and taking into a graphics program to add additional layers, I decoupaged the layers and added a sentiment created in Word. The fame is a sentiment frame from the same CD .  There is lots to choose from in this collection at Polkadoodles called SUNDAE OF SEASONS CD

ATC COINS Friends Bird with feathers flock together!

Yeah its Friday! another Polkadoodles challenge soon comes around, the team this time the team was asked to create anything we liked, use girlfriend colour and girlfriend image! ....well Birds with feathers stick together just like best friends don't they? ....so i created these A.T.C coins that I will put inside the card and envelope when sending out on my friends Birthday...i adore these! Using just one of the stamp images from Birds together stamp set all coloured with distress markers using the Girlfriend colour challenge!

4 generation family clipboard: Polkadoodles blog challenge

Happy Friday everyone! ..for this weeks team challenge we was set a challenge to

1. Theme: Family/Older Generation

2- Using this : colour Palette an image which would appeal to someone in your FAMILY who is retired

3. Make: Something which has a photo keepsake included, IE a family photo, baby photo etc. i.e. a card for a grandma with a photo of you and your children included in there.

Initially I was going to create a scrap page but then I wanted the picture to be on display to enjoy so I cut a piece of MDF board to create a clipboard I covered with Gesso and added texture paste to flower doodles stencil and stamped images using stamps from Butterfly and flowers collection. I manipulated some old photos of my daughter, mum and grandma so it looked like all 4 generations was all together in the picture! This was so out of my usual comfort zone but I'm really happy with the way it turned out and a real family keepsake! Here is my take on this challenge, hope you like it!

Wedding stationary

I applied something old (Silver & Blue Tassels from my stash) ... Something New ( In a frenzy stamp soup set) Something Blue...( Metallic blue marker pen) for this weeks wedding theme and made a Favour box, Save the date tag and an invitation.

Hi everyone, another Friday soon comes around: The team challenge this week was a card which has movement, IE a slider, shaker, pop up, magic window : Using the Twiggy and Toots  Cake Time! I have created a secret slider card, i printed the image in Black and White for the front and another in colour with a sentiment from the collection you can find HERE

Fathers day treat

Happy Friday to all! for my project I've have created an all in one box that exactly fits a Terry's orange, I thought this was a fabulous idea for a gift for the man in our lives: I have used  design papers and elements from not for girls definitely for men the tag was cut from creative paper pack using the the basic tag dies , if you would like to create this gift box click on the link HERE

The Chef and The Baker set to work ! Home Decor!!

For this weeks DT  Project over at Polkadoodles craft challenge " Anything Goes"  The team challenge was use something from the Kitcehn and a " Job Theme , with this in mind I decided to print The "Chef" and "Baker" from THE WORK AND PLAY CD 7  images onto fabric transfer paper and applied them onto two tea towels ( something from the Kitchen) using a stencil I have used fabric paint to add additional colour and interest. The sentiments " Good Luck in your new job"  was printed onto safmat clear printable paper and was taken from sentiment download you can find HERE. Using a stencil and fabric paints to create the background to give added interest.

Bon Voyage! ......Sea, Sand and Sunshine!

Happy Friday everyone! Today project was inspired for a friend that is leaving the UK to live abroad! using Flip Flop embellishments and Sea Shells  from The Polkadoodle Shop!. I created the sand and sea background using texture paste over a stencil and is painted using acrylics paints! the sentiment was taken from Winne celebrations sentiment bundle 2.  I created the mason jar by hand drawing onto acetate with a sharpie pen and fussy cutting out.

USA Mothers Day: flowers and Foliage

Hi Everyone: My project this week is using Flowers and foliage digi kit from Polkadoodles, I printed a few A4 sheets and cut them on my Scan n cut machine: I aslo cut the pots and tray on my cutting machine from a SVG cut file and you can find it HERE. The embellishments and sentiment was taken from The Picknix collection, and the backing papers was taken from The Pretty Tuff CD the flowers have been edged using Distress inks. Wishing all Mom's in America a very happy Mothers day !

Easter chocolate Dispenser gift box.

My project for Easter always has to involve chocolate of some kind so using Cherry Blossom Lane CD Collection I printed and fussy cut many elements and design papers images and created a Dispenser gift box. this a a Fabulous collection if your looking for inspiration to create Easter Gifts and very versatile for all occasions.

For a Lady

For today project i coloured up some lady images from Fredericka Mini CD collection using coloured markers: the large flower i created using the  heart shaped stamp from the Stamp Soup Stamp Collection sentiment is also from the Cd collection. I think she looks very sophisticated this lady don't you?

Lots of Green St Patrick theme

For the "lots of green" theme  over at the Anything Goes Polkadoodle challenge I've used a cutting Swirly Leaf  .  I printed a few of these and cut several,  Then napplying a floating die appearance inspired by  Jenifer Macguire and you can see how this is created HERE The Jar of flower & butterflies image are taken from the Lemonade Fizz CD collection: sentiment is printed onto vellum also taken from the CD. This card will be for a special St Patrick day birthday for a family member. Hope this inspires you for the upcoming St Patricks day celebrations !

Recycle VHS Case - Mini Album

Fridays recycle team challenge inspired me to create a mini photo album using an old VHS video case using The Lemonade Fizz CD and " you are beautiful " and other small stamps in the Stamp soup collection for the sentiment and front cover : I loved making this photo album and is a first for me !
