- About me…. After forty years of the daily hustle, I officially traded my briefcase for a crochet hook in September 2025! My life is a colourful tapestry woven with love, family, and a lifelong obsession with making things by hand. When I'm not lost in a sea of paper (my favourite obsession since 2008!), you’ll find me adventuring with my husband, John, and our big, fluffy shadow, Moosh—an 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with a heart as big as his paws. My greatest treasures are my daughter, Lauren, and the three little stars who call me Nana: Harper, Callie, and Casey. I’ve been crafting stories and keepsakes since childhood, and now I finally have all the time in the world to let my imagination run wild! ✨🧶✂️

Its been a long time blogging! Art Deco by Docrafts!
Hello Crafter's :-)
Well its been a while folks since i actually made a complete card or even blogged hasn't it? I'm sure we have all been in a place on life's journey where we feel demotivated and down and just cant seem to pick up the path we once was following due to changes in circumstances beyond our control! To say i have been in that place this year is an understatement and to the people that have tolerated me and listened i truly thank you for your continuous support, i haven't been the easiest person to tolerate !!!.
Now its time for me to learn from that journey, dust myself down and start anew and get back in control and what better way than to take myself off into my little craft room (ooooh its was still untidy!!! lol) and make a card, tonight i feel like i have found my mojo that was lost for quite a while and to those that have walked that life path never give up there is always a corner to turn on that pathway :))
I have used Docrafts Art Deco decoupage kit to create this card if you haven't already purchased this range then go on treat yourself, its not an expensive kit and you can create beautiful cards in no time at all and they look so elegant! and best of all its such fun and a change from making the Christmas cards he he he ;)) ...Have fun crafting folks!
